Shalonda Harris, LPCC-S
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-SUPV
I love working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I practice compassion, empathy and unconditional positive regard. Mental illness does not take into account your age, finances, religious beliefs, socioeconomic status, race, culture, gender, etc. My goal is for you to feel safe, comfortable and understood throughout the therapeutic process.
My work is driven by the idea that individuals can lead a healthy productive, satisfying life. Please know you do not have to do this alone. Sometimes we all need a little assistance with navigating life's issues. I use evidence based practices like CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing.
I hold online teletherapy sessions through a platform called Simple Practice. Imagine having therapy in the comfort of your own home.
